Understanding her autism meant discovering herself and understanding all the benefits that come along with the challenge it brings to her life. Today, she is using her strengths to advocate for the needs of the neurodiverse community and is even helping our company to build a more inclusive workplace.

Christopher, a blind employee, excels in logistics at Advanced Therapies. His work, involving inventory checks and error assignments, is dynamic and rewarding. He adapts quickly to new environments, whether the office or home, using assistive technologies like a Braille display and screen reader to navigate his work. Despite his blindness, Christopher's meticulousness and light-hearted attitude make him a valued colleague. His self-deprecating humor serves as an ice-breaker, fostering comfort among his peers. And what is his advice on fostering inclusivity? Ask questions, know people better, and let respect grow.

Jim Jacobson
Jim Jacobson struggled earlier in his career as a cyber security expert, not knowing he had challenges other's didn't have to deal with. For him it was game-changing to be diagnosed with autism at the age of 50. Now not only does he have the tools to excel at work, together with the HANDS (Healthineers for Autism and Neuro-Diversity Support) employee resource group they set out to create an open and safe environment for extraordinary minds of all kinds to disclose and flourish, free from stigma and misconceptions. Additionally, the members of HANDS want to provide resources for people working with neurodoiverse individuals.
