Position Title: Technical Training Specialist
Salary $119,542 -$156,000 / Year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week
Summary of Duties:
Work as part of the Customer Solutions organization delivering approved training curriculum to North America customers. Support all Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics portfolio, with an initial focus on the Atellica Diagnostics industry. Facilitate in-person and remote product training programs. Troubleshoot problems and successfully maintain instruments when working in the training laboratory. Provide technical input, update the training curriculum, and design new programs as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally to stay current. Work independently to interface with outside departments and effectively represents the Customer Clinical Education team. Implement effects to increase customer satisfaction. Coach and mentor new trainers. Assist on special projects to support the business, such as new product launches. Up to 50% domestic travel required. Hybrid work permitted.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Biomechanical Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Field Service Engineer, Support Engineer, or a related occupation.
The position requires experience with the following skills:
Hardware troubleshooting and installation of laboratory equipment, including using fluidics diagrams and mechanical expertise; Assay troubleshooting of laboratory analyzers including quality control and calibration errors and root causes analysis; Software troubleshooting for laboratory equipment and Microsoft interfaces; Knowledge of laboratory workflow and IT components, interface with Laboratory Informatics system and middleware solutions; Experience delivering technical workshops and advance laboratory skills training; Experience using Microsoft Teams and software simulators. Up to 50% domestic travel required. Hybrid work permitted.
