We are seeking a Time & Attendance Supervisor – Payroll Delivery to lead and oversee timecard management for payroll processing in the U.S. and Canada. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in time and attendance systems, with a proven track record in supervising teams, resolving complex timecard issues, and ensuring policy compliance. In addition, the role will develop, propose, and implement processes and programs related to timekeeping and payroll readiness, advising managers and employees accordingly for assigned business units.

Experience with Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, Kronos, or ADP is highly preferred. You will play a key role in leading a team that ensures accurate, timely, and compliant time data to support payroll integrity and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Time & Attendance Oversight:

  • Supervise the end-to-end timecard review process across multiple regions and business units; US and Canada; Workday and SAP
  • Ensure all Pay codes are working as expected in Workday and SAP Time systems
  • Create new pay codes as requested by the business and work with Payroll to create and test in DF system
  • Oversee resolution of complex exceptions, including missed punches, overtime, leave tracking, and cost center discrepancies.
  • Ensure timecard accuracy and timely approval before payroll deadlines.
  • Guide the team in applying policy-based rules and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal standards.
  • Maintain and update Time card processes and procedures

Paid Time Off Plans Oversight

  • Maintain and update existing PTO plans for All US and Canada, Varian and SHS
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, and quarterly accrual reports to Finance
  • Ensure year end timely and accurate accrual and forfeiture report to Finance
  • Create new PTO plans as needed by state regulations

Team Supervision & Leadership:

  • Lead and develop a small team responsible for timecard data validation and issue resolution.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to drive accuracy and accountability.
  • Act as the point of escalation for unresolved or complex timekeeping issues.

System Coordination & Issue Management:

  • Collaborate with IT, HRMS, and Payroll to ensure time data correctly integrates between systems (e.g., Workday to Dayforce).
  • Test system enhancements or configuration changes and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Monitor system performance and submit change requests for improvements.

Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, state/provincial wage and hour laws, and internal audit standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of timekeeping corrections and approvals for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation and explanation.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Prepare dashboards and reports for HR, Payroll, and management review.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for timekeeping policies, providing guidance to managers and employees.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR to review and refine time-related policies and practices.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll delivery, or HRIS administration.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of timekeeping platforms such as Ceridian Dayforce, Kronos, ADP, or Workday Time Tracking.
  • Understanding of payroll cycles and time data dependencies.
  • Familiarity with federal and state/provincial wage and hour laws.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills.

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data validation).
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and handle confidential information.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar CRM/ticketing tools preferred.

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $101,900 - Max $152,900

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
