Position Title:           PLM/SCM Project Manager

Hours:                      Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties: Ensure that the delivery scope and budget are maintained throughout the project lifecycle including monitoring project progress, managing resources effectively, and making necessary adjustments to ensure that project objectives are met within the agreed budget. Proactively identify potential issues that could impact the smooth transition of projects to the live environment. Develop and implement strategies to resolve these issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruption to project timelines and deliverables. Ensure that deployment management relies on verified schedules and forecasts. This involves working closely with project teams to develop accurate project schedules and forecasts, and regularly reviewing and updating these to reflect changes in project scope or timelines. Determine the causes of any perceived deviations from project plans or schedules by conducting thorough analyses to identify the root causes of deviations, developing, and implementing strategies to address these and prevent future occurrences. Take charge of planning, managing, and maintaining the rollout of deployment activities and project plans for our internal business customers. Work closely with implementation teams to ensure timely go-live and adherence to delivery scope. Evaluate possible savings potential and relevant KPIs through the introduction of modern methods in development. Consult communities of experts and use lean methods to identify potential for improvement. Work together with a cross- functional implementation team, on the definition of requirements, on the solution design, implementation and support the rollout of functionality to our users. Remote work permitted. 30% (domestic and/or international) travel.

Qualifications:         The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained. The position requires experience with the following: test management tool solutions and ALM Software Project management; common regulatory requirements of an industry technology; experience with common tool platforms in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); IT affinity experience with LEAN and agile method.
