Position Title: Cybersecurity Professional
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week
Summary of Duties: Recommend best practices for implementing cybersecurity. Facilitate threat modeling. Assess development teams for process assurance. Develop guidance that enables the development teams. Develop and delivering cybersecurity training modules to internal teams. Develop special topic presentations to be delivered internally. Approximately 15% domestic and international travel. Hybrid work permitted.
Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Position requires experience with the following: understanding of the elements of a secure development lifecycle, such as threat modeling, secure architecture and design patterns, application of security tools (e.g. what is the purpose of security tool types (SAST, SCA, DAST, Vulnerability Scanning, fuzzing), and security testing; understanding of implementation of security controls at all levels: secure coding, integration of security devices (e.g. firewalls), endpoint security (e.g. allow-listing); understanding of automation in the software delivery pipeline and the integration of security testing tools; review security controls; experience regarding the interpretation of identified security vulnerabilities to properly advise product teams for remediation; experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
