This is a role well suited to an ambitious Nuclear Medicine professional, looking for the next step in their career. We are seeking a strategic and critical thinker with a strong technical background. As a Test Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing clinical expertise, design, develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure accuracy, relevance, and completeness of test coverage.
- Applying your Nuclear Medicine background to execute manual informal and formal Verification and Validation testing of complex nuclear medicine scanners and applications, while providing thorough and timely feedback to the development team on observations.
- Identifying, submitting, and tracking high-quality product defects using industry-standard tools.
- Reporting on the quality, maturity, and progress of Nuclear Medicine products/documentation content to test leads.
- Monitoring the status of planned tasks within assigned scope of work and ensuring actual results are on track, while resolving dynamic challenges and conflicts.
- Estimating effort for Verification and Validation at project milestones and scope consideration points.
- Functional area ownership based on your area of expertise. Independently planning, coordinating, and tracking activities in that area of technical responsibility.
- Reporting expert assessment of quality within functional area and driving regression test planning and execution.
- Participating in Nuclear Medicine product concept definition development and design reviews. Identifying potential technical problems or design flaws.
- Analyzing system requirements and technical concept specifications to ensure adequate functionality coverage.
- Collaborating closely with system engineers, developers, and product managers in defining high quality system test specifications, including acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Ensuring testability of formal system requirements and leveling test specifications. Tracking updated requirements and modifying test specifications accordingly throughout projects.
- Participating in the evolution and implementation of Nuclear Medicine product development processes and tools.
- Analyzing customer feedback and supporting customer complaint investigations.
- Interacting with internal stakeholders such as support representatives, developers, technical writers, product managers, project managers, and quality assurance colleagues.
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior-level test engineers.
- Maintaining prototypes in the lab in a manner as they would be used in a clinical environment, including troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
- Supporting software installation, configuration, and calibration of systems.
- Accompanying and supporting customers during external reference site visits.
- Taking part in the knowledge exchange within our R&D team to improve and further develop our products and software solutions.

- Proficient with performing SPECT and SPECT/CT acquisitions in a clinical environment.
- Broad clinical application experience processing nuclear medicine scans.
- Hands on Quality control experience on SPECT and SPECT/CT systems.
- Conversant in handling radioactive material on a regular basis.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with the medical device industry, FDA 21 CFR Design Control and SAFe methodology, and product development lifecycle a plus.
- Experience with TFS, Caliber, and HP ALM a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with minimal supervision.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics or Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent).
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in the test engineering or nuclear medicine field is required. Outstanding candidates who do not meet the experience requirement may also be considered.
- Willing to travel up to 5%.

The base pay range for this position is
Min $114,400 - Max $171,600Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
