Key Responsibilities

  • You manage and further develop and modernize our domestic mobility programs (immigration and domestic relocation) in the US and Canada, and lead to set up policies and manage providers.
  • You take over key local governance and compliance processes, including communication with relevant partners (e. g. HR, Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, corporate tax, finance, tax, accounting, etc.) for domestic mobility programs.
  • You lead harmonization of the US immigration program, including collaboration and partnership with immigration providers.
  • You consult on various strategic mobility solutions with a focus on foreign local hires and international permanent transfers by engaging with various stakeholders throughout the consultation to enhance overall mobility experience for our stakeholders and employees.
  • Optimize HRMS and enhance established mobility processes with focus on employee experience.
  • You independently take on projects in M & A area in the field of Global Mobility including provider changes, harmonization of policies based on our strategic priorities.
  • You are the point of contact for our clients, HR and providers, on compliance-related issues in the context of global and domestic mobility assignments.
  • Provide training and support to HR team members on mobility-related topics and best practices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality mobility services.
  • You take on special topics and are present in internal and external networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, law, economics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with international companies or consultancy, in the field of Global Mobility programs management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the relevant immigration, tax, social security challenges in our main markets (USA, Germany, Canada etc.) and how they impact each other.
  • Experience with HRMS systems, specifically Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with process optimization and improvement is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Location

  • Americas region (preferably in the US or Canada)
  • Full time, remote or hybrid possible
