The Time and Material Billing Intern will be responsible for all activities pertaining to the clarification, follow-up, execution and dispute resolution of billings; related to the execution of time and material services by Siemens Healthcare Limited in Canada. 

Responsibilities   

  • Reviewing service contracts to determine if a completed work order is billable

  • Executing and sending service invoices to customers 

  • Interacting with Field Service Engineers/Regional Service Managers to clarify completed work orders 

  • Interacting with Regional Service Managers and the Call Center to obtain missing purchase orders 

  • Reporting on key performance indicators 

  • Facilitating customer complaints and resolving billing issues as they arise  

  • Other billing administrative activities as requested by the Manager of Order to Cash operations 

  • Pooled Resources Customers review  

 

Requirements: 

  • Knowledgeable in SAP preferred (not required) 

  • Previous billing experience required. 

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic 

  • Desire to improve processes and improve efficiencies 

  • Basic level of finances and business acumen required 

 

 Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience  

  • Finance/Business degree qualification 

  • Good knowledge of  SAP  Systems 

  • MS Office Tools – Word- Excel-PowerPoint 

  • Strong analytical organizational communication and teamwork skills required 

  • Results oriented 

  • Ability to take initiative 

  • Good time management and a detail-oriented personality 

  • Bilingual (French and English) would be considered to be an asset
