Product Sales Trainer, Diagnostic Imaging

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, successful market leader and make a difference in healthcare by equipping our Siemens Healthineers Diagnostic Imaging Sales organization for success.  We are looking for someone who is dynamic, innovative, and brings imaging sales experience and expertise to our training programs.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Product Trainer, you will support a best-in-class sales team by assessing, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating the sales education journey. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment, Design & Development

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to understand training needs and competency gaps related to our products, Siemen’s business processes and the industry
  • Align with leadership to support business needs and prioritization of product sales training initiatives
  • Participate in the development and facilitation of Product and Commercial Sales Excellence workshops and seminars
  • Leverage clinical or sales experience to support and facilitate training sessions on industry acumen, territory management, market trends, quota attainment models of success, and other modules as determined by the needs of the business.
  • Stay informed on product updates, launches and releases to ensure education team and training materials are current and consistently updated
  • Collaborate with marketing and the training team/instructional designer to develop useful and impactful pre-work, trainings and assessments for new hire and legacy sales employees
  • Support product sales pathways in our sales onboarding and new hire training program
  • Periodically reassess existing courses to ensure content is up to date, relevant and effective

Training Delivery

  • Work with the training department administrator to schedule training programs
  • Assign pre-work for learners
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor led training programs and workshops primarily for Diagnostic Imaging Sales and Specialty sales roles
  • Coordinate with subject matter expert presenters who deliver technical product training
  • Facilitate and/or support training associated with new product launches or company initiatives

Evaluation

  • Conduct post training learner knowledge/competency assessments
  • Communicate knowledge/competency assessment outcomes to the hiring managers and mentors with recommendations for additional learning support and coaching throughout the onboarding program
  • Conduct post training course surveys with learners, hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure training is effectively meeting business needs

Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

BS/BA required in related discipline 

Diagnostic Imaging or Clinical Sales experience, required

3-5+ years of sales training or related experience, preferred

Excels at building rapport with both internal team members and key stakeholders

Strong at working cross-functionally, multi-tasking, and with organization and time management

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (e.g. Power Point) preferred

Knowledge and/or experience with CRM systems such as Oracle Sales Cloud (preferred)

This position will be located near our Malvern PA office (a suburb of Philadelphia) or Remote

Travel to training events as needed

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $137,300 - Max $205,900

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
